I'm of the mind that winter is for rest....a time for slowing, steadying, letting it all simmer and ruminate. Maybe this comes with age, maybe not. For some years now, the struggle of push, create and make into a product has been fueled by this need to have things done before the new year. Often for the sake of selling for the holidays, the exact time when I'm at lowest energy albeit inspired to make crafts with Leon.
I say to this pattern, "no more!"
From now on, the execution of deadlines in times of low capacity need not happen!
"My calendar will start in April!" I said to family members and friends recently...(a slow but supportive...'okaaaay' was typically their reply"
SO yes, this calendar starts in APRIL 2026 and runs through MARCH 2027. It's a collection of my most beloved paintings from 2025 and I'm very proud of it.
Thank you for supporting a non-traditional, self care centered project this year :)
