Rain machine

CURRENTLY IN PROTOTYPE PHASE - PLEASE INQUIRE IF INTERESTED

The Mixed Needs Rain Machine is an interactive acoustic appliance intended for long periods of passive listening. A gentle crackling sound is generated in real-time using digital signal processing techniques; no recorded samples are used and the sound's parameters can be subtly adjusted to the listener's liking using 3 knobs. The device is housed in a white, ceramic enclosure and dedicated to a single a sound. Its congenial physical appearance and limited functionality are intended to strengthen the listener’s emotional association with the object. We hope this machine's effect will be become a familiar part of the atmosphere in your daily living.
